NEOH – 2nd Annual Summer Mardi Gras – July 18-19, 2026 – Vic Janowicz Park – Elyria, OH.
This event is our 2nd annual NEOH/Summer Mardi Gras. This event is open to 10u-C, 12u-C, 14u-C, and HS (16/18u-B/C divisions.
Event Info: This event will feature 3 pool games seeding into a Sunday Single-Elim bracket. We can take a max of 12 teams total in each division.
Awards: Champion and runner-up will pick up to 12 USSSA Mardi Gras Rings along with a team award for each team. Team awards are typically a team plaque or banner. We normally also award 3rd place medals if more than 12 teams enter an age group.
Additional Info: This event is also a USSSA National Championship qualifier for the top two finishing teams with an unpaid berth to a USSSA National Championship of their choice. Points Race Info: This event earns team points in our National/State Points Race-for-the-Rings program. This program is a state, regional, and national program that uses the USSSA point system to determine the winners of these custom rings. Ohio All-State Games: Teams also get to nominate players for our All-State Games August 8, 2026, in Marion. OH. The top team will have 5 selections, then runner-up will have 4, 3rd place will have 3 each and the remaining teams will have 2 player nominations. Gate Fee
There is a prepaid team parking charge of $75. This covers all admission/parking fees for the weekend.
Parking charge is $75 prior to the event, $125 the day of the event if paid onsite. Parking can be paid online at USSSA.com (5% fee-$79) or thru Venmo to @ohiousssa-22. Please notate team name and event parking is being paid for.

Huge Attention Items: All rosters for the event will freeze at 9 pm on Friday – July 17, 2026. There will be no roster add-ons after this point. If you are somehow able to add a player to your roster during the event and it brought to a tournament officials’ attention, your team will be disqualified from the event with no event or pre-order refunds. That will be the roster policy for 2026.
Pool Schedule Update: There are one team playing a 4th game in the 14u division. This 4th pool game will only count in the standings for their opponent.
Janowicz Park-Housekeeping items: Pets are permitted as long as they are leashed please. No alcohol is permitted to be brought on site at all. Violators will be asked to leave the premises! Remember that this is a youth event! Campers are not permitted anywhere on the property. This is not a campground! Both locations do permit coolers, etc.
Please check in with a tournament rep: There will be a rep inside the pavilion near the concession stand area. The rep will be Mark. This is where you can pick up pre-ordered shirts also. Please check in right away and pick up/inspect your team pre-order before starting your first game. You will need your roster online and a copy of your team insurance to show at check in. If you have insurance through USSSA, then you do not need to show it but still be courteous and check in, so the TD knows you are there. Brackets and scores will be only posted online.
Roster items: USSSA permits the use of Guest players. Our terminology of a guest player is a player already on a USSSA roster. If the player is not currently on a USSSA roster, then that is considered a roster addition, and the player is to be added. The guest player system shuts down 3 hours before the first start time of the event (Sat morning by 5 am). Also, all player additions on the roster by then. If you have a frozen roster (Class C), then any player additions/subtractions must be done by Thursday evening before 9 pm. Any add-ons after this point will not be done until Monday morning.
Gate/Admission Charges: There is a prepaid Parking Fee of $75 this weekend. This can be sent to Venmo at @ohiousssa-22. Notate team name and event being paid for please. Right now, there are only three teams that have not paid the parking fee (Pitbulls 12u, Explosive 14u, and KY Southern Heat-HSD)
Coaches Packet: This has all items needed to stay informed at Ohio USSSA events. This packet has all items roster related along with other Ohio USSSA rules and policies: 2026 Coaches Packet.
Tournament Rules: 2026 Ohio USSSA Tournament Rules. We use the rules from the Tournament Rules – Single Elim format link. Be aware that we WILL start games as much as 15 minutes early. This is self-explanatory and helps us stay ahead as much as possible.
Please provide your own first aid supplies including ice packs: If needed, also bring your own towels to wipe softballs off with. The concession stands nor are the tournament staff responsible for treatment of YOUR players!
There will be some additional souvenir t-shirts for sale on site: Teams can pick up merch pre-orders at the check-in tables. Pre-ordering for the event has been completed. We will provide the softballs during the event: Please be kind and help chase the balls when necessary so we can keep a good game ball on the field for the players to always hit.
Weather updates: Will only be given via updates from the Rain Out Line App. Hopefully, this should not be an issue during the weekend. If so, we will update by 6:15 am each day-Sat/Sun. We will use an app called Rain Out Line. You can click here to download or see real time event updates: Rain Out Line. You can also call a dedicated rain line at 380-220-1980 to hear any updates. No update means no delays! We will use this set up in case of weather issues during the event.
