Event DetailsMOH – 5th Annual Summer Mardi Gras – July 18-19, 2026, Community Park – Marengo.
This event is open to 10u C & 12u-C. This event is capped at 12 teams per age division. If entries are small in another division, then we will expand to 16 in division’s that have interest but 24 is the total # of teams in the event for Saturday.
Event Info: This event will feature 3 Sat pool games seeding into a Sunday Single-Elim bracket. We can take a max of 24 teams in the event. We may be able to expand a couple of age groups if the pick-up in another is slower. Reach out to Mike Craig-Ohio USSSA if you want to be put on a wait list in case an age group is filled.
Awards: Champion and runner-up will pick up to 12 USSSA Rings along with a team award for each team. Team awards are typically a team plaque or banner. We normally also award 3rd place medals if more than 12 teams enter an age group.
Additional Info: This event is also a 2027 USSSA National Championship qualifier for the top two finishing teams with an unpaid berth to a USSSA National Championship of their choice. Points Race Info: This event earns team points in our National/State Points Race-for-the-Rings program. This program is a state, regional, and national program that uses the USSSA point system to determine the winners of these custom rings. Ohio All-State Games: NOTE: this is the last event to nominate for 2026 All-State Games from; Teams also get to nominate players for our All-State Games August 8, 2026, in Marion. OH. The top team will have 5 selections, then runner-up will have 4, 3rd place will have 3 each and the remaining teams will have 2 player nominations. NOTE: YOUR SPOT IS THE EVENT IS NOT SECURE UNTIL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED IN FULL. ALL PAYMENTS ARE LISTED PRICE-NO DISCOUNTS FOR VENMO OR CHECK. ENTRY FEE DEADLINE IS 21 DAYS PRIOR TO THE EVENT. AT THE 21 DAY MARK, TEAMS WILL BE DROPPED FROM THE EVENT.Ways to pay for your entry fee into DES/Ohio USSSA FP Events:- Pay with a credit card thru the USSSA website under your manager profile.
- Snail mail to Double Eagle Sports – PO Box 2283 – Westerville, OH. 43086. Must be paid three weeks in advance to keep spot.
- Venmo to @ohiousssa-22. Notate event and date paying for in comment section.

Gate FeeGate/Admission Charges: Admission fee is $10 per day, or $15 for the weekend pass. Up to 3 coaches will be permitted in free of charge and will be given a coaches pass. Be kind to the gate personnel. They are just doing their jobs. If you are rude to these folks, that is considered a violation of our no-tolerance policy and subject to immediate dismissal for the weekend.
Cash and Venmo accepted at the Gate.
