Event DetailsThis event is a Fall State Tournament and has 4X points status played on the turf fields at Lou Berliner Sports Complex-Columbus, OH.
Also, any team that plays in the event can also take an unpaid berth to the USSSA Winter Nationals Feb 12-15, 2027, in North Myrtle Beach, SC. More info on that event here: Winter National Championships.
Fall State event info:
This is a two-day event with 3 pool games on Sat seeding to a single-elim bracket on Sunday. Reminder that Sunday is the start of Daylight Savings Time. We will have 9 am start time on Sat and 8 start time on Sunday.
Awards: Champion and runner-up will pick up to 12 USSSA State Rings along with a team award for each team.
Additional Info: This event is also a USSSA National Championship qualifier for the top three finishing teams with an unpaid berth to a USSSA National Championship of their choice. Points Race Info: This event earns team points in our Points Race-for-the-Rings program. This program is a state, regional, and national program that uses the USSSA point system to determine the winners of these custom rings. Ohio All-State Games: Teams also get to nominate players for our All-State Games August 7, 2027, Marion, OH. The top team will have 5 selections, then runner-up will have 4, 3rd place will have 3 each and the remaining teams will have 2 player nominations. NOTE: YOUR SPOT IS THE EVENT IS NOT SECURE UNTIL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED IN FULL. ALL PAYMENTS ARE LISTED PRICE-NO DISCOUNTS FOR VENMO OR CHECK. ENTRY FEE DEADLINE IS 21 DAYS PRIOR TO THE EVENT. AT THE 21 DAY MARK, TEAMS WILL BE DROPPED FROM THE EVENT.Ways to pay for your entry fee into DES/Ohio USSSA FP Events:- Pay with a credit card thru the USSSA website under your manager profile.
- Snail mail to Double Eagle Sports – PO Box 2283 – Westerville, OH. 43086. Must be paid three weeks in advance to keep spot.
- Venmo to @ohiousssa-22. Notate event and date paying for in comment section.

Gate FeeBerliner Park charges a $5 daily parking fee for all automobiles. Campers are $15 daily and have to be parked in the Gary Ogle lot in front of fields 1-5. Overnight camping is not permitted. This charge is for everyone who enters the complex including coaches.
The parking charge goes back into park improvements like the turf infield surface the athletes get to play on each weekend. USSSA has no control over gate or parking fee policies of the host complex.
