Event DetailsThis event is our inaugural Eastern Ohio – St. Jude’s Swing-for-the-Kids event. This event is open to 10u-B & C, 12u-B & C, and 14u-B & C teams. We will separate B and C teams in each age group. Note: There are Friday night game times in this event. We will start pool play on Friday night!
Format: 10u/12u/14u age groups will feature 4 Friday/Saturday pool seeding games into Sunday single-elim bracket play. There could also be some cross-over pool games or one large pool if numbers dictate.
Awards: Top 2 teams in each division will pick up individual medals with team awards. Awards will consist of 12 champion and 12 finalist medals. If we have more than 12 teams in an age division, we will add 3rd place team and individual awards as well. Team awards may be a plaque or team banner.
Merchandise: There will be a merchandise pre-order for the event consisting of t-shirts. There may be a few items onsite for sale as well consisting of tournament merchandise and other items. After the event, teams will have the option to purchase customized champions merchandise shipped directly from UTP.

AdmissionThere is a daily $6 parking per car fee.
Parking fees go back into the park for improvements. Also, the complex does a raffle for $150 on Saturday using the parking stubs. Check your tickets at the concession stand later in the afternoon on Saturday.

Additional NoteA portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to the St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital in Memphis, TN. Look for other ways to contribute to the cause closer to the event.

2024 All-State Showcase
Ohio All-State Showcase: Teams also get to nominate players for our new All-State Showcase August 3, 2024 in Marion, OH. The top teams in each division get a minimum of 4 player nominations and the remaining finishing teams will get at least 2 players for nomination. 2024 Ohio USSSA Race-4-The-Rings
Points Race Info: This event also earns team points in our Race-for-the-Rings program. This program is a state, regional, and national program that uses the USSSA point system to determine the winners of these custom rings. This is a newer program for Ohio USSSA at the state level but a team from Ohio did win the Regional and National rankings in 2023. 2024 USSSA National Championships Qualifier
Additional Info: This event is also a USSSA National Championship qualifier for the top two finishing teams with an unpaid berth to a USSSA National Championship of their choice.
