Event Details

This event is our Annual – Open State event for class A/B teams. This event is scheduled to be 2-pool seeding into a double-elim bracket. There will be Friday games as we intend to play all of the pool games on Friday. This can be as early as 9 am start time on Friday morning.

Format: 14/16/18u-A/B division will feature 2 Friday pool seeding games into Saturday double-elim bracket play.

Awards: Top 2 teams in each division will pick up State Champion and Finalist rings along with team awards. Awards will consist of 12 champion and 12 finalist rings. Team awards may be a plaque or team banner.

Merchandise: There will be a merchandise pre-order for the event consisting of t-shirts, dry-fits, long sleeve t-shirts, and hoodies. There may be a few items onsite for sale as well consisting of tournament merchandise and other items. After the event, teams will have the option to purchase customized champions merchandise from UTP.

Additional Info: This event is also a Last Chance USSSA National Championship qualifier for the top two finishing teams with an unpaid berth to a USSSA National Championship of their choice. Points Race Info: This event earns team points in our Points Race-for-the-Rings program. This program is a state, regional, and national program that uses the USSSA point system to determine the winners of these custom rings. This is a new program for Ohio USSSA at the state level but a team from Ohio did win the Regional and National rankings in 2022. $5 per day, players in uniform are admitted free.
