A/B State Event Details:

Ohio USSSA Open (A/B) State - June 26-28, 2026 - Pickerington Central High School, Canal Park, and Lakewood High School

This event is our Open State (A/B) event. We will have 8u-MKP, 10u-A/B, 12u-A/B, 14u-A/B and 16u-A/B teams. Note, the 8u is modified player-pitch and will also play 2 pool seeding into double-elim bracket play. All teams should expect to play Friday with the event starting at 8 am.

Event Info: This event will feature 2 pool games seeding into a Double-Elim bracket. We can take a max of 16 teams total in each division.

Awards: Champion and runner-up will pick up to 12 USSSA State Champion rings along with a team award for each team. Team awards are typically a team plaque or banner. We normally also award 3rd place medals if more than 12 teams enter an age group.

Additional Info: This event is also a USSSA National Championship qualifier for the top two finishing teams with an unpaid berth to a USSSA National Championship of their choice. Points Race Info: This event earns team points in our National/State Points Race-for-the-Rings program. This program is a state, regional, and national program that uses the USSSA point system to determine the winners of these custom rings. Ohio All-State Games: Teams also get to nominate players for our All-State Games August 8, 2026, in Marion. OH. The top team will have 5 selections, then runner-up will have 4, 3rd place will have 3 each and the remaining teams will have 2 player nominations.
