Event DetailsThis event is our Open State event. Traditionally, there may be Friday games as we play the pool games on Friday then seed into a double-elim bracket for the remainder of the event. NOTE: If entries are lower, we will play Sat/Sun.
Format: All divisions will feature 2 pool seeding games into double-elim bracket play. There could be some cross-over pool games or one large pool if numbers dictate. These guarantees are always weather permitting.
Awards: Top 2 teams in each division will pick up individual State Tournament rings with team awards. Awards will consist of 12 champion and 12 finalist rings. If we have more than 12 teams in an age division, we will add 3rd place team and individual awards as well. Team awards may be a plaque or team banner.
Additional Info: This event is also a USSSA National Championship qualifier for the top two finishing teams with an unpaid berth to a USSSA National Championship of their choice. Points Race Info: This event earns team points in our National/State Points Race-for-the-Rings program. This program is a state, regional, and national program that uses the USSSA point system to determine the winners of these custom rings. Ohio All-State Games: Teams also get to nominate players for our All-State Games August 8, 2026, in Marion. OH. The top team will have 5 selections, then runner-up will have 4, 3rd place will have 3 each and the remaining teams will have 2 player nominations. NOTE: YOUR SPOT IS THE EVENT IS NOT SECURE UNTIL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED IN FULL. ALL PAYMENTS ARE LISTED PRICE-NO DISCOUNTS FOR VENMO OR CHECK. ENTRY FEE DEADLINE IS 21 DAYS PRIOR TO THE EVENT. A/B State Event Details:
Ohio USSSA Open (A/B) State - June 26-28, 2026 - Pickerington Central High School, Canal Park, and Lakewood High School
This event is our Open State (A/B) event. We will have 8u-MKP, 10u-A/B, 12u-A/B, 14u-A/B and 16u-A/B teams. Note, the 8u is modified player-pitch and will also play 2 pool seeding into double-elim bracket play. All teams should expect to play Friday with the event starting at 8 am.
Event Info: This event will feature 2 pool games seeding into a Double-Elim bracket. We can take a max of 16 teams total in each division.
Awards: Champion and runner-up will pick up to 12 USSSA State Champion rings along with a team award for each team. Team awards are typically a team plaque or banner. We normally also award 3rd place medals if more than 12 teams enter an age group.
