1 pm – 2:45 – 10u division can start skills challenges.
2:45 – 4 pm – 12u division can start skills challenges.

Skill challenges are by divisions (5 total. We will split off 8u from 10u):

Fastest pitch – We will take 3 timings and best timing is what counts for each division.

Fastest runner to 1st base – We will take best timing from home plate to 1st base. 1 time thru.

Fastest around the bases – We will take best timing from home plate running the bases in order to home plate again. 1 time thru.

Throwing accuracy – We will have up to 5 throws with scoring being direct hit as 3 points, one hop into target as 2 points, and throw into target area as 1 point. Highest point tally will win the age division.

Home Run Derby – Players have to provide their own pitcher. 8u/10u will hit from 2nd base, 12u’s from the pitcher’s mound, and 14u/HSD from home plate area. This is a timed event of one minute to hit the most home runs over the fence. If no homers, then closest to the fence will count as the winner. If we have a tie in a division that had over the fence home runs, then we will have a “hit-off” with the tied participants getting one minute each to hit the most over the fence homers.
