Event Details
DES – 9th Annual Queen-of-Diamonds NIT – June 12-14, 2026 – Pickerington Central HS (12u/14u)-Pickerington & Lakewood High School (16u/18u)-Hebron, OH. There will be Friday games as this is a 2 pool into a double-elim bracket. Everyone will play 2 games on Friday. This event is classified as a National Invitational Tournament (NIT) which means 3x points and top 3 pick up direct National Berths (unpaid).
This event is our 9th annual Queen-of-Diamonds NIT event. This event is open to 12u-B, 14u-B, 16u-B, and 18u-B teams. Note: This event fills early every year. When we get to the max number of teams for the event, then we will start a waiting list. Teams will have 15 days to pay for the event in full or get dropped for a team on the waiting list. We will then do the same until we have a full field.
Event Info: This event will feature 2 Fri pool games seeding into a Saturday/Sunday Double-Elim bracket. We can take a max of 48 teams for the event.
Awards: Champion and runner-up will pick up to 12 USSSA NIT Rings along with a team award for each team. Team awards are typically a team plaque or banner. We normally also award 3rd place medals if more than 12 teams enter an age group.
Additional Info: This event is also a direct USSSA National Championship qualifier for the top three finishing teams with an unpaid berth to a USSSA National Championship of their choice. Points Race Info: This event earns team 3X points in our National/State Points Race-for-the-Rings program. This program is a state, regional, and national program that uses the USSSA point system to determine the winners of these custom rings. Ohio All-State Games: Teams also get to nominate players for our All-State Games August 8, 2026, in Marion. OH. The top team will have 5 selections, then runner-up will have 4, 3rd place will have 3 each and the remaining teams will have 2 player nominations. NOTE: YOUR SPOT IS THE EVENT IS NOT SECURE UNTIL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED IN FULL. ALL PAYMENTS ARE LISTED PRICE-NO DISCOUNTS FOR VENMO OR CHECK. ENTRY FEE DEADLINE IS 21 DAYS PRIOR TO THE EVENT.
