Event DetailsThis event is our Annual – Open State event for class A/B teams. This event is scheduled to be 2-pool seeding into a double-elim bracket. There will be Friday games as we intend to play all of the pool games on Friday. This can be as early as 8 am start time on Friday morning.
Format: 14/16/18u-A/B division will feature 2 Friday pool seeding games into Saturday double-elim bracket play. Be aware that some teams will get eliminated on Saturday afternoon/evening. This will not result in a refund in gate fees if you bought a weekend pass.
Awards: Top 2 teams in each division will pick up State Champion and Finalist rings along with team awards. Awards will consist of 12 champion and 12 finalist rings. Team awards may be a plaque or team banner.
Merchandise: There will be a merchandise pre-order for the event consisting of t-shirts, dry-fits, long sleeve t-shirts, and hoodies. There may be a few items onsite for sale as well consisting of tournament merchandise and other items. After the event, teams will have the option to purchase customized champions merchandise from UTP.

Admission$10-daily/$15-weekend pass. Note that Friday counts as Fri/Sat gate admission. Up to 3 coaches permitted free. Be aware that some teams will get eliminated on Saturday afternoon/evening. This will not result in a refund in gate fees if you bought a weekend pass.

Ohio All-State Showcase: Teams also get to nominate players for our new All-State Showcase August 3, 2024 in Marion, OH. The top teams in each division get a minimum of 4 player nominations and the remaining finishing teams will get at least 2 players for nomination. 2024 Ohio USSSA Race-4-The-Rings
Points Race Info: This event also earns team points in our Race-for-the-Rings program. This program is a state, regional, and national program that uses the USSSA point system to determine the winners of these custom rings. This is a newer program for Ohio USSSA at the state level but a team from Ohio did win the Regional and National rankings in 2023. 2024 USSSA National Championships Qualifier
Additional Info: This event is also a USSSA National Championship qualifier for the top two finishing teams with an unpaid berth to a USSSA National Championship of their choice.
