Event DetailsThis event is our Class C State Tournament. This event will have potential Friday morning games. Also 16u/18u will play at Pickerington Central High School. It is classified as a State tournament which means 4x USSSA points are awarded in this event.
Format: All divisions will feature 3 pool seeding games into Sunday bracket play. These guarantees are always weather permitting.
Awards: Top 2 teams in each division will pick up individual State rings with team awards. Awards will consist of 12 champion and 12 finalist rings. If we have more than 12 teams in an age division, we will add 3rd place team and individual awards as well. Team awards may be a plaque or team banner.
Merchandise: There will be a merchandise pre-order for the event consisting of t-shirts & dry-fits.There may be a few items onsite for sale as well consisting of tournament merchandise and other items. After the event, teams will have the option to purchase customized champions merchandise from UTP.
Additional Info: This event is also a USSSA National Championship qualifier for the top four finishing teams with an unpaid berth to a USSSA National Championship of their choice. Points Race Info: This event earns team points in our Points Race-for-the-Rings program. This program is a state, regional, and national program that uses the USSSA point system to determine the winners of these custom rings. This is a new program for Ohio USSSA at the state level but a team from Ohio did win the Regional and National rankings in 2022. Ohio All-State Showcase: Teams also get to nominate players for our new All-State Showcase August 5, 2023 in Marion, OH. The top 3 teams in each division get 3 player nominations and the remaining finishing teams get 1 player nomination. AdmissionNo Gate Fees at Whitehall – $5 daily/$10 weekend at Pickerington Central.
Gate fee proceeds go into the high school programs at each Pickerington school.
