All-State Games Explained
All-State is a special event that takes place at the end of each season (August 2, 2025 – TBA) to recognize players who have been recognized and nominated throughout the year for outstanding sportsmanship, attitude, and teamwork.
Teams receive nominations based on the following:
- On a sliding scale for every Ohio USSSA event. 1st place gets 5 selections, 2nd place gets 4 selections, 3rd/4th gets 3 selections, and the remaining teams get 2 selections.
- Coming in the fall of 2024 – Select All-State nomination events with special perks for the nominees.
Players who receive MVP awards at select events or are nominated from tournament placement and register and play in the event will:
- Receive an individualized invitation to the All-State Event.
- Be tagged as an All-State Nominee in the USSSA System.
- Be eligible to attend the National All-State Games in Viera, FL – Dec 26-31, 2024, at USSSA Space Coast Complex.
The Ohio All State Games takes place the first weekend of August. Previous events have featured the following:
- Equipment Raffles
- Skill’s Challenges featuring fastest pitch and HR derby.
- Showcase Discussion with an experience Showcase Event Director.
- Guest appearances by prominent college players or coaches.
